What's wrong with the Burner?
He's getting shut down by the Bears so far and has already fumbled. His numbers have been down considerably this year. I hope he breaks out of this soon, yes even tonight.

I think it was Hub Arkush that had some interesting comments on Boers and Bernstein this week about running backs and getting so many carries in a season. Apparently, there's strong statistical evidence that when a running back gets X amount of carries or hits or some key metric or combination, it spells trouble for them the following year because of the beating they take. Michael Turner supposedly hit all those key metrics last year. Perhaps he's burned (no pun intended) out? I sure hope not.

Looks like the same thing happened with Forte.

Yeah, it appears he is struggling. Just before I wrote this he is making some nice runs. Looks like the Bears are choking tonight so hopefully some good will come out of the loss.

Nothing is "wrong" with Turner.

RE: What's wrong with the Burner?
Nah ..

Bears were stacking the box, and he was still carrying defenders. There were not many holes for him to run through.

Nothing wrong with the burner. He's already had 2 games of ~100 yards and had around 3 touchdowns last week. He is fine .. Some defenses are just okay at stopping the run.

Bears, and Dolphins have great rush defenses. Not sure what happened to him during the New England game though

He's an NFL running back. He probably shot his load last year.

RE: What's wrong with the Burner?
he forces opposing Ds to make adjustments for him which further opens pass plays..

He will continue to accumulate meaningful, productive yards.... and Ws.

He is far from "having shot his load from having had one great season" and four as a back up.
