I think before you could call it a big 4 USF had to beat one of them. Mission accomplished, they are on level footing with Miami and FSU. Florida probably has separated themselves from the rest of the pack however.

thanks cuseroc, i knew we had a chance but the way our d-line just dominated fsu surprised even me. they played us straightup and we absolutley killed them, i think they had only 21 yards rushing or something and i think 4-5 sacks.

bj played with a lot of poise, which was pat white-like at times, and the td throws he made grothe physically couldn't have done. but he also showed why i had my doubts about him making his first start against fsu, he cramped up and ran out of gas in the second half and just made some dumb freshman mistakes that almost cost us the game.

i said it before this is by far the deepest and most talented usf team we've had including the 2007 team, and it showed. absolutely no drop off from the 1st and second d-line or o-line and we simply wore down fsu at the end.

Just like Cincinnati has made it a two horse race in Ohio, South Florida has officially made it a Big Four, especially since they personally made their presence known.

its a great win for South Florida, no doubt...but you think you're on the same level with FSU and Miami? really?

Remember, Louisville beat FSU several years back...are they on the same level as FSU?

South Florida is making great strides in Florida, but the way FSU, Miami, and UF made names for themselves is by breaking out on the national stage...USF needs to put themselves in the national title race, and then you'll have more legitimate claims as to being one of the top dogs in Florida

Funny that Espn announcers just said that USF just proved that they belong with the other Florida powers, hmmm. Who's opinion do you think viewers are going to listen to, EvilVodka, the lone internet poster, or the Espn announcers, and the Espn media giant? Perception becomes reality when Espn keeps saying it.

Who the hell care what EvilVoda said. USF is part of the Fla big 4 whether he likes out or not. I never had any doubt USF would win this game. USF should take out the Canes later in the year too.

Sorry, but stature in Florida is measured by National Championships, how many does South Florida have? Until you win one, you're #4 as a program

The problem with USF is the way they fade when it becomes cold and they have to travel up north. I do think they are now on an equal footing with FSU but a little behind Miami and way behind Florida.

Really there is Florida....and then the "next 3"...Miami, USF, and FSU

Exactly. Why the fan of another conference would bother to come over to our board, a Big East board, and try and downgrade us is anybody's guess. But when you come over here and throw a hissy fit because we're happy about USF's and Cincinnati's success, and you run over here to mock Pitt and the conference how do you think we're going to react? Also....CC said UC has made it a "two horse race" in Ohio...it didn't say UC program was equal to O$U......you can interpret "two horse race" how you wish but what meant is, we have separated ourselves from the other schools in the state as being the ONLY other BCS program in the state, we are getting recruits IN the state that never used to come to UC...including Pead and Wolfe....guys that could have went to OSU and came to UC. We are ranked, we went to a BCS game last year, etc....so yeah, it's two horse race now biotch.

I know you can't believe USF just came in and kicked your nut in......so maybe you should take a break and just breathe for a while. Here's the bright side...the ACC royally sucks arse right now and you probably can still win your conference!!!! Just make sure Bowden has a fresh change of Depends undergarments and some polygrip for his false teeth and you guys are golden.
