Vertical Passing Game?
Anyone have any comments on the downfield passing game? It has been dink and dunk all season.

They put Sears in for one deep pass yesterday. To me that's an indication that EMU doesn't have a true deep threat WR, especially against B10 teams with more speed. Hopefully some of those freshmen that are red-shirting can help next year. This should be a recruiting priority.
Also need a kicker that can pound it in to the endzone on kick-offs.

Here's an interesting observation of mine, Schmitt in the purportly more conservative pro set with more runs already has 5 interceptions. Last year with the more pass oriented and more risky spread offense he had 8 interceptions for the entire year.
