Speaking of which, we visited the Great Sand Dunes this summer and listened to a couple of DoI scientists talking about how they used the sand dunes there to model the sand dunes on Mars. He pulled out a piece of a meteorite from Mars that he said his wife bought on eBay (he said his co-workers verified it was Martian).
