RE: Still want a Smart car?
.

I owned a Police Car for several years.

It was a 1996 Impala/Caprice Classic and was the Rear Wheel drive full body version.

330 Horse Power Corvette Engine and would hit 150 in a spit.

One of my Daughters were in trouble at about Mid-Night on fine evening and I was going to help her and at about 83 Miles Per Hour, as a Cop was popping his lights on me from the front, my wife and I hit TWO DEER at the SAME TIME !!!!!!!

The cops were about 200 Feet in front of us with their lights on and the biggest Deer I hit was knocked over their Patrol Car, the smaller deer was propelled backward and almost came thru the windshield onto us.

To make a long story short, I was caught on Radar at 83 MPH, Hit Two Deer so hard it slung one over 200 Feet thru the air, and OVER THE COPS PATROL CAR and my Full Sized Impala, going 83 MPH full bore with no time to Brake for the Deer, only got burised and my wife and I did not get ONE SINGLE INJURY !!!!!!!

Try that with your Fonky "SMART CAR" and see how deep the Daisies Grow homez !!!!!!!

And if you think I am lying, IT IS ALL DOCUMENTED ON POLICE REPORT !!!!!

A Fury was one of the best Patrol Cars ever created. I never saw one break down other than just the normal stuff and these cars were put thru the wringer too man.

And a Fury was a nice looking sleek car no matter what year it was.

You just could not beat those Hemi Hi-Pack Engines and 140 MPH was just "cruzin' speed" for these cars.

I spun a Fury around in the road on top of a Curved Hill at about 100 MPH and was heading down the ditch in reverse at 100 flat out and with no way to control the car.

I just started tapping the breaks and guiding the best I could and it did a 180 and the rear bumper struck the higher ditch bank and brought me to a HARD STOP .....

The only damage done, a bent Tail Pipe on the left side dual exhaust.

Those cars were made to take it and run with it and keep you safe.
