2 slashes with the sword. Here in California, the DA would have said just one slash was enough, not two and why did you confront the crook to begin with when could have ran away? The student would be toast and the crook's family would have a wrongful death law suit.

If the guy had only severed the perps hand, CA would probably give the perp disability payments.

I don't think Texas would indict if he took the extra swing and mounted the dude's head on a spike in the front yard.

Trip, you just know questions will be asked about why a student is keeping a weapon in his room and the whole thing will amazingly become his fault. And if this was at Duke there would already be a statement signed by 80 or so professors condemning this murderous student.

Yeah but the Samurai Sword or Katana holds the Very Essence and Spirit of the entire Samurai's Lineage who owned or owns the Weapon.

These Swords are a very honorable asset and keepsake and if it is a True Samurai Sword, a Surgical Scalpel can't cut half as well.

This guy did good no matter how many Idiot Liberals go after him and he will be vindicated in all venues.

What if its a cheap Chicom knockoff sword? No spirit? If not, I'm happy with the dead perp.

Yep, had he lived there would be all the expensive medical, court and prison bills - he would have cost the tax payers a fortune and provided nothing.
