Cash for clunkers: 10x the cost?

I'm not sure all the math here works out, I think they overstate the case a bit. Nevertheless, it points in the right direction AND it's an entertaining read.

There was an excess of 2009 Model Inventory on the market(like other goods), odds are you could've got $4500 off, to make way for 2010 models, without Govt. program.

Instead they abolished tons of usable Cars that lower income types could've used, and in the process increased the market value for Used Cars available on the market, by reducing supply.

pretty stupid anyway you look at it.

There are still two Toyota Dealers in Atlanta that haven't been paid in over a month and they claim that are still owed $230,000 by the Government.

One thing to consider-- even though the car may be a Hundai or Toyota or a Scion, most are assembled in the US . The Prius isn't though, while the Camry is.

Neither is the best selling Hyundai under the program.

That's the best quote you can come up with when the Topic is about the Clunkers Program costing at least 10 Times its estimation ???????

Just APPLY THAT FIGURE to Father Barack Care AND YOU want this same Government to run our Health Care !!!!!!!!!!!

You are about the saddest excuse for a breathing human being I will ever encounter.
