Sorry to jump in here, but I wanted to add something about these pictures that I didn't see anyone else mention. The two pictures that rockymtnramfan compared probably shouldn't be compared in the first place, since they didn't occur in the same place. While the inauguration took place on the National Mall, the 9/12 rally apparently took place along Pennsylvania Avenue or the nearby area. I don't have a dog in this fight but it's probably not that fair to give a photo of the National Mall as evidence that a rally on Pennsylvania Avenue wasn't well attended. It'd be like me producing a photo of Times Square as evidence that a rally in Central Park wasn't well attended.

But deception was the intention.

I applaud those that attended the rallies...but...Until they are willing to withdraw their financial support and starve the beast...nothing of any real substance will occur in regard to reducing the size of government.
