And there you hear it from the Blithering Idiot of the Rocky Mountains.

What would the world do without your Wisdom's you twit monger ???

The South is way above where you flippant fools are by leaps and bounds ... so f*k off FeverTick.

.

Kentucky could not even handle an ice storm. Ice storms happen all of the time in Illinois, yet their infrastructure is good enough not to shut down the entire state.

This type of rhetoric is really getting on my GDamn nerves.

There are a ton of schools in the South that I'd match up with that sorry ass school you pull for. Also, your state used to be red until a bunch of f'n Californians moved in. Good luck turning blue, punk. I hear they did wonders to California.

BTW, this site was started by people who are mainly from the South. Politics aside, keep bashing the South, fool.

Could that be because they don't have a lot of ice storms? Maybe Illinois has had so many drills and precautions in place because of ice storms that they are really prepared. Let's see, could Illinois stand a hurricane like the south can? Save New Orleans, all of our cities can bounce back in a short time. I don't believe the north could stand such a force.

The traffic jams leaving Houston were hilarious too. You said that they had great infrastructure in place? But when no money goes to infrastructure in the South it decays and falls apart. All you have to do is look at the AAU.

University funding is the first thing to hit when budget cuts come for states.

Florida (SEC), Texas (Big XII), Texas A&M (Big XII) and Virginia (ACC) for public. There are more University of California (6) schools in the AAU than the entire South.

Again fool, I'll put Duke, Vanderbilt, Emory, Georgia Tech, Rice, Mercer, Florida, Wake Forest, Rice, and many other schools up against any f'n thing you have in Colorado. Your best claim to fame is a f'n mining school.

Infrastructure is funded by the state. Hence so few public schools from the South on the AAU.

You just compared public universities to private universities. No wonder the South is so far behind.

If your an example of what graduates from your perceived better unis, I'm sure they would like for you to stop cheer leading for them.

BTW, I would compare homes with you, seeing as how you think we're "3rd World", but you either live at home with mommy and daddy, or a dorm, where you're not very well liked. I very seriously doubt you're a part of a fraternity.

Whatever, straw man. This whole argument is about the South's inability to fund infrastructure. The first thing that goes in funding is higher ed cuts. That is why I showed you the whole AAU list. You are the idiot who thinks public school funding equals private universities.

I don't know why the north/south thing gets me so mad...I was raised in Quebec and we considered the whole US as the south. But yes, through my travels around with the Coast Guard and with family I have seen a lot of the US. What infrastructure in Houston was totally lost after their hurricane, what infrastructure was lost in Charlotte after their ice storm.

Also you are very welcome to bring yourself down here to enjoy some of our hospitality here. I'll take you on a boat ride.

Are you still in the CG? If not, and you live in Charlotte, I'd love to! 04-cheers

I'm two hours away.
