"Sheriff's deputies patrolled Jericho until the 1990s, when the city received grant money to start its own police force, Martin said."

This must be just west of the river and the big dog track that was featured in "The Firm". Jericho is close to where BB king almost died in the fire that inspired him to name his guitar Lucile after the girl that caused it.

My hats off to the people of Jericho....I seems that they have figured out that the police do not keep you safe and mostly just hand out fines to pay their salaries.

That must be some driveway....but can a cop write a speeding ticket when you're driving on your own private property?

If you are operating a motor vehicle on your own property, you can go as fast as you want. Private property parking lot accidents are strictly between the people involved and the insurance companies.
