only thing that suprises me about this, is that there are still places off our coast its legal to drill in. Imagine what Oil would cost if it was all open? Why we could all drive that Hummer and finish off mother Gaia for good!

Note that Petrobras is a participant in this deal.

Remember who they are?

I can't figure out Soros. Soooo much money, but consistently backs the very political persuasion that wants to tax the rich, berate the wealth of the rich, and call the rich evil for making too much money.

It'd be like me supporting Toledo football.

He's already got the $$$, now he wants to rule the whip. Its the way of the Limosuine liberal.

what they effectively promote via their policies, fully enacted, is keeping everyone in the same class with they being the Elite/Noble class. i.e. everything America originally was in opposition to.

Plus if you are connected like his is, you can make big money with those political connections. Its the small entrepreneurs and others trying to work themseleves up from nothing that get the shaft in this setup, not Soros.

Hey, Petrobras is a good company. I've got some friends there and I'm really pretty impressed with them. Particularly since they got the governement out of running them, they've done some pretty good things.

They have a business plan to bring their gasoline/ethanol blend to the US, if only we would let them do it. If we could get our motor fuel use to 44% ethanol they way Brasil has, the balance of power in the world energy game would shift dramatically, and IMO to our great benefit.

Yup. It's "corporatism" instead of capitalism. Using gov't regulation and persuasion to gain/keep a competitive advantage in the marketplace.

The rich are the aristocrats. And they aim to keep it that way.

We're back to plebes and burghers...largely b/c we didn't believe the founding fathers' principles.

His fortune is made by betting against America. He has a huge liberal following.
