Obama Celebrating Ramadan Tuesday

A noteworthy update to President Obama's light schedule this week, considering the rumors about his religion that lingered throughout the 2008 campaign. From the White House guidance for Tuesday:

In the evening, the President will host a dinner celebrating Ramadan and highlight the contributions of American Muslims in the State Dining Room. The President's remarks will be pooled press.

Easter is nothing more to him than bunnies and eggs, and that is the religion that he lies about belonging to. Most of us, unlike Obama, wont be celebrating the enemies holy day.

I know a pretty conservative ordained minister that's celebrating Ramadan.

I have more things to complain about with his highness than this. I would prefer he kept his religious beliefs and their practices private...whatever they are.

I agree. I think Obama is doing alot of things that are crap, but this really doesn't bother me.

We got too many uniformed liberal broken records on this board. They have no problem with taking both sides of arguments on what ever whim they might fancy, at the time. Obama flagellation of the issues, is the prime example. Everything is in flux with him. Day by Day, even hour by hour. It comes from having no principals, no direction, no courage. It is why liberal activist judges have done so much harm to the interpreting of the Constitution.

Hopefully you apply your outrage to Obama celebrating Yom Kippur, Chinese New Year and other holy days.

Because the WH and the President are politically expected to administer to the entire religious population of this country.

Recognizing and celebrating are differant. I don't mind him recognizing ramadamadingdong along the lines of " Our enemies are celebrating their holy month and we should take the time to double our resolve to defeating this enemy and during this month we should guard against attacks from these swine".
