Read somewhere that the Pros were looking at Sears. Anyone know what happened to him after he left U of M? Did he play last year and if so, where? I'm anticipating that he will be a lock down corner this coming season.

He's looked real good at the scrimmage and the couple of practices I've been too. Has big time speed. Was also a return man at UM. We had a previous thread regarding Sears. That thread had a lot of info regarding his career at UM. I don't think we ever figured out where he played last year, which led me to believe he may have been out of football. Still not sure...it would be nice to know how much eligibility he has left.

As a side note, it was amazing to see the interest out there in this former UM player. The day that thread was posted, it took well over a thousand hits in 1 day. I remember getting on this site in the evening and noticing that there were a couple of us regulars, and also 83 guests! I've never seen anything like it on this site.

To me it looked like Sears was rooming with the wrong person and was more of weak accomplices than an instigator.

Good reason why I hope that more and more coaches, former players, etc. with UofM ties end up at EMU.

As EA indicates we get more publicity from something related to UofM then anything EMU can do on its own.
