Looks like a softer home schedule than Rams has had in the past. Not quite to Boone levels, but definetly softer. Of course the UM game at the Convo fell through...

There are a lot of signs that this is a "win or else" year for Ramsey and that he knows it. Last year of a contract, softer home schedule, JUCO recruits... Hope it works out.

The men play Davenport and Northwood as regular season games?!? Was Marygrove not available? Wait, the Women's team plays Marygrove. I think I will focus on EMU Football for now....

Is it really so difficult/expensive to schedule D-I competition for home games? There are plenty of D-I opponents in the area. Why aren't they coming to the Convo Center? EMU is within both the Summit and Horizon league's footprint but there is only one Summit (a key road match with Oakland) and no Horizon schools on the schedule. More distant conferences are coming to Ypsi (CAA, OVC, MAAC, Great West). Are these just "cheap dates"?

Ramsey needs to be at least .500 this year against D-I competition to keep his job.

I am not at all happy. At least Concordia isn't a regular season game. Almost a Boone type schedule. Not a mean enough schedule that will help us win the MAC.
