Speaking lackof foresight
Lack of infrastructure

I'm not looking to blame Clinton or Bush, but someone's lack of foresight regarding infrastructure and energy policy continues to kick our ever-lovin' a** every day.

I don't know if that's a Fed Gov't responsibility. But I'd certainly peg a lack of energy policy back to Bush 41, and even Carter. Carter was the one who let the nuke industry dry up...and we've never had a sensible replacement.

I'd go with Carter as the main culprit. We have never recovered from some of the really stupid things he did. But that was kind of the story for his whole administration.

I would also lay some of the blame on subsequent republicans who had the chance to fix it and didn't.

.

Look guys, I watched an easy 1000 men form all States work themselves almost to death after Katrina installing ALL NEW AND IMPROVED ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT.

I thought "No More Brown Outs and No More Stupid Power Outages from just a Limb Falling on the Line" ..... it is WORSE THAN EVER !!!!!

Poles are Taller, Wire is Larger Gage and much Stronger, Transformers are way more capable of handling loads, back feeds and lightning strikes - - - but it ain't so Boyz and Gurlz, it just ain't so.

If you guyz are talking Electric Grid Infrastructure, we REALLY REALLY need a total overhaul before we are ALL caught with our pants down and glued to our ankles.

I wonder if we all Give Alms and Pray to Father Barack, if he will rebuild our GRIDS for us ..... I mean it will probably cost at least $2 or $3 Trillion and Father Barack just can not pass up that kind of chance to SPEND MONEY in those Gross Amounts.

Pray for the Good Father Barack all .....
