Weights have not been updated. They have had them for two weeks! How hard is it to make simple updates?!!

Attack, you mentioned in a previous post about some new kickers, but maybe I'm missing this in the updated roster, but I didn't see any additional kickers.

As an aside anyone hearing how camp is going? Any newcomers impressing or its it too early to tell?

There is no mention of EMU on what I saw on the webpage.

I'm sure we won't see any updates until after summer practice when the new media guide comes out. Summer is when competition for position occurrs and the starting lineup developes. Incoming freshman and updated weights will be listed at that time...stay tuned.

But Gourdine is on the most recent EMU roster. It appears he had some offers from some BCS schools especially West Virginia. I don't know the story behind him ending up at EMU but looks like a solid recruit at WR.

The new media guide for the 09 season came out about a month ago, but I think your right...they do some kind of update to either it or the roster at the end of camp. Just seems to me that if they were in there adding all these names to the roster, they would have updated the weights...I need to excerise patience (must be my usual preseason jitters)....I'm just curious to see how the rest of the team weighed in aftering busting their butts all summer...

Yes, there were two kickers at the new player luncheon....Probably both walk-ons. Maybe they have not been added to the roster because no decision has been made to keep them....or SI just hasn't got around to it yet. I noticed that none of the players they added to the roster has a bio yet...looks to be a work in progress.

Gourdine is intriguing. He had a lot of recruiting attention but wound up at EMU. It really makes you wonder what kind of baggage the kid has.

The list on this website says that he's on scholarship at EMU (not a walk-on) http://www.bcaasports.com/athletes/scholarships.htm.

Was he a late signee?

Yes, that was the Spring edition, they will update the depth chart, roster and add bio's in the Fall edition. Can't wait!!
