RE: Media guide
A few interesting observations on the depth chart.

Welch is the #1 RB ahead of Priest and Blevins. Curious if EMU will go with all three (four if you count Sherrer) getting a handful of carries each or will they go with one workhorse with the others getting spot duty.

Slater is not on the 2-deep at DT. Hopefully there's enough quality depth at DT so that Ohrman can play DE where he showed promise last year. Unless he put on 25lbs in the offseason he's way to small to be inside. How big are the other DT's now?

Devon Davis is the only true freshman on the 2-deep. I look for that to change at the WR spot with either Thomas or Olds getting into the mix as a bigger target. Also, will McMahon hold on to the #2 QB spot ahead of the freshmen?

Kevin Long was moved to safety.

RE: Media guide
I'll be curious to see the actual weights of the players when they report.

As to who is on the depth chart I expect some stiff competition at TE, LB, DL with newcomers and at RB from existing players. I would agree there is a place for the freshman to make their marks at WR.

At some point I wish EMU would get to a point where most of the freshmen players redshirt.

As always there may departures as prep for the fall starts.

Palsrok should report around 280 lbs next week.

Regarding Orhman, he has put on weight and is probably in the 250's. Slater and Kuhlman both around 270 I think. Leonard is 280 ish.....

The current Depth chart is based on evaluations made at the end of spring practice. Everything is up for grabs when camp starts in a week...Competition will be fierce.
