Look at Lasik surgery. A medical procedure that the majority of insurances don't cover. Prices have fallen dramatically for the procedure.

Lasik's should be beholden to the same regulations as any other medical procedure I would think. To me the biggest problem is the insurance companies. That's why I put the door ding scenario up top. Think a new car costs 14 grand. Get the car's front 1/4 panel replaced and it's a 4,000 dollar bill.

His behavior was uncalled for but it doesn't surprise me. Not saying that he's an awful person all of the time but no one here can deny that he doesn't, 100% of the time, come off as a douchebag. In fact, I think that was mentioned in another thread.

We should cover a few people that are to freaking lazy to work and pay for their own health insurance. 250million people should lose the greatest healthcare in the world, so 46 million can get healthcare? The quality of the healthcare in the US is not broken contrary to what the idiot caller was trying to say, the GUBMENT needs give incentives to employers to provide coverage to low wage low skill employees.

Free market health care is the answer. The marketplace is and always will be the answer. You are correct...govt. interference has blocked the market signals. Remove the regulations and allow competition to handle the cost side of the equation.

I think he brings up good topics..but..He is no Libertarian. He does not understand the principle of non aggression the that the LP was founded on. He and Boortz and a cast of others have adhered the term Libertarian to themselves in order to stand out in their market. In reality...he is a "true" Republican.
