"Different" speech, different diction, tone of voice. He speaks like Rev. Jackson.

"Make no mistake: The pain of discrimination is still felt in America," the president said in honoring the organization's 100th convention.

What, you mean like firemen who don't get promoted?

I could have swore I was listening to an old Pentecostal Preacher gettin' down about all the Fire and Brimstone raining down on us.

I wish he would have went to Seminary instead of gotten into Politics.

What? You silly tinfoil hat wearer! Haven't you heard? Just because he sat in his congregation for 20 years, called him his "spiritual mentor", had him perform his wedding ceremony, baptize his children, and named a book after one of his sermons doesn't mean that he actually listened to him.

When Bill Cosby says stuff like this he's crucified.

Quote:"We have to say to our children, `Yes, if you're African-American, the odds of growing up amid crime and gangs are higher. Yes, if you live in a poor neighborhood, you will face challenges that someone in a wealthy suburb does not,'" Obama said, returning to his tough-love message familiar from his two-year presidential campaign.

"But that's not a reason to get bad grades, that's not a reason to cut class, that's not a reason to give up on your education and drop out of school," he said. "No one has written your destiny for you. Your destiny is in your hands and don't you forget that."

You just have to love Bill Cosby, he is so straight up and truthfully forward that you know he is going to keep the Phonies all Pissed Off.

I wonder why Cosby has never ran for High Office ?????

I would vote for him in a heart beat !!!!!

Even though Dr. Cosby votes D? I have to admit that I do like the man for being a really good example of what black America, well America in general, could be if everybody would just act right and stop blaming other people for things that go wrong. Hes a great role model if nothing else.

No way he voted D.

Those are not Democratic traits, acting right, not blaming Bush.

The majority of people don't act like stereotypical republicans and democrats. Those characteristics are just labels that we get from the news.

If Cosby "Voted Democrat", then he voted for the Democrat that he thought would and could do the Job.

I see Bill Cosby as a person who Votes for the Best Candidate and the one who WILL do the Right Things and Perform at his best at all times.

Bill Cosby is one of the "Absolute Smartest" men I know and he is filled with Common Sense and I watched him on the TV Series "I-Spy" back in the 60's .... he was a Major Player who got in there and did his best even then. You could always tell that he was going places by the way he held him self and how hard he worked on that Show.

And that was the Racial Stirred 60's he was being an Equal In.

The thing about Bill Cosby, is you could always see that 'He Knew Who He Was" and he never lost that Ideal or Gave that Identity Away just too please neither Whites nor Blacks or any Race of People.

Yeah, Cosby is on track with Common Sense and Years of Experience.

He has no problem with Who He Is !!!! And Neither Do I .....

Not true. The polls show otherwise. The right may not want it but that is only a small fraction of the population.

The people say they don't want his cap & tax. He say he don't care what the peoples want.

Do you have any numbers to prove they don't want it?

The people say they don't want his pork barrel spending. He say he don't care what the peoples want.

THe right seem to be against it until they are for it.

The people say they don't want his czars, tax cheats, apologies, bigot preachers, terrorists friends, socialism, communism, facism, industry takeovers, and bows. He say he don't care what the peoples want.

I am not really sure most people give a **** about the czars. Most of the rest is right wing BS.

The people say they want a birth certificate. He say he don't care what the peoples want.

The right wing nutcases want to see a birth certificate. Most people are more intelligent than to believe that crap-even a judge laughed the soldier out of the courtroom for claiming such idiocy.

try using facts. The judge dismissed the case because the Major's order to deploy was rescinded. Since the suit was over Obama's legitimacy to deploy him the case became moot.
