Whoa......that even embarrased me.

But then there's this:

Mis-labeled video. President Obama is introducing Mr. Medyedev to Americans who came with him.

Can this be true?

It looks like his gesturing, as in "Mr. Medyedev, meet Rahm ... here's some dude that contributed $250,000 to our party last fall, here's our new Czar of bureaucratic meddling, ..."

I don't know.....I've watched the video several times and it does look like monkey ears is introducing some one to other people.....If we knew who the people on the left side of the screen were we'd know. At least the f'cker didn't bow.

That's pretty bad. Reminds me of Hillary snubing Bill and going in for some smooching with the black man (¼, ½, whatever). Cold. This hatred they've convinced the media they have for one another is a pretty good cover. You know they are doing some role playing when they're alone. Kenyan sex. Loin cloth. Spears. Jungle music.

Waiting for Roberts obligatory "racist" comment.

Look at the last "almost" handshake where he goes to grip, I.e. closes his hand a bit (at 12 seconds). Again, why in the hell would a f'n American be introducing Russians to their own President?

View picture #37 (of course #11 is a striking image for Obama's collection as well). Tell me the man on the left or the young guy in the middle are Russian. Dude with the glasses looks like he could be either Russian or American.

Yeah, that or my family is Russian.

Did you happen to notice the caption by any chance?

Quote:President Obama introduces President Medvedev, second from the right, to members of the U.S. delegation. Obama told Medvedev during their meetings that Russia needs to establish independent courts, a free press and fight political corruption.

.

Yes, honestly, it looks like he was Going For the Shake on the First Couple of Tries and had to Regroup Fast for the Camera when no one would shake his hand.

The 1st Two are almost 99.8% going for the Grip and when it didn't happen, he got "That Look" on his face when the Embarrassment Hit - - he did not merely seem to be "Introducing Another Person" with a Fully Open Hand in Shake Mode.

Maybe we will get a Full Video of the Entire Line and see how that went and be able to better tell.

And with his hand out like that and NO ONE tried to take it in a hand Shake is just Strange Man.

AHHHHH

I will grant it looks that way in the video above. But, that explanation just doesn't make a bit of sense if anyone spent a moment to think about it. How could that kind of gesture by any official delegation possibly help any nation unless there is open hostility between them. Plus, if you look at this video,

If you look at this version of the video (basically omits the split screen of the first one), it's very clear that when he reaches out, he has stepped 3-4 feet past the person that it appears to have snubbed him. It's a combination of camera angle and a pathological willingness to believe just about anything when viewing Obama through irrationally partisan eyes to the point of believing just about any kind of nonsense (and props to smn, paul, and you for your credulity in the face of your obvious dislike of Obama). Realistically, these are highly scripted events and if these were Russian diplomats, Medvedev would be the one accountable for their behavior.

The bigger question out of this isn't just that people are willing to believe this. It's that they're willing to cheer it on. I don't care how big of a douchebag you think Obama is, I would expect everyone to be pretty outraged if indeed foreign diplomats (flunkies though they may be) did this to a US president. Even Carter/Obama. And, I mean outraged at the Russians as well as our leader.

I will offer this story - I met a Persian man - he's been in the US for 25 years or so - this past weekend. He said he was ashamed of his leadership when the revolution happened. He was ashamed of Ahmadinijad. He says he's now ashamed of the leadership now that Obama is president. He talked about how weak America looks now that he's the leader. He went on and talked about Barak Hussein Obama ... he said "I can call him Hussein". (You've got to envision his hand turning away as he says "his" and pointing his finger up in the air when he says "my"). "His father was muslim. My father was muslim. His middle name is Hussein. My name is Hussein." He was pretty interesting to talk to. He talked about America and said Americans don't always appreciate how good it is here, but he mentioned that he had lived in Germany and England before coming here. He pointed out that no-one makes fun of his accent here. That said, in general the Persians I know are all over the map as far as what they expected Obama to do or how well he's done in dealing with Iran.

I45, if you go back and look at my Reply, it clearly says that "Maybe we will get a better video of this and it will show us more of what happened as Obama walked down the line" - - the one you posted 'Kinda Sorta' does that.

And why on Earth would I be angry at the Russians for doing the exact same thing I would do if this being stuck his hand out for me to shake.

WTF is he that I should fall down, cry, slobber, orgasm over the place when he sticks his hand out for a shake ..... he "Begged for a Job and Got It and is Screwing it Up Royally for all of us" - - so exactly what does this make him ... My Employee is what it makes him.

And yes, when I look at my Grandchildren and know this Single Being along with a Corrupt and Treacherous Congress, is killing this Nation leap by leap and in broad daylight, it pisses me off a whole bunch.

My Children and Grandchildren WILL NOT KNOW the good times I have known because they will be too busy trying to pay off this Historical Debt this being is creating at a blazing pace.

Don't like him ???? Hell no I don't like him - - he his ripping MY Country out from under me and NO ONE IS LISTENING TO US WHEN WE SAY "STOP".

I gave him more benefit of the doubt than I usually do on the goofy "Handshake Thing" and I honestly don't care if all of Moscow turned out to NOT SHAKE HIS HAND, if I think so little of him HERE, in the U.S., why on Earth should the Russians give any sort of care about him over there ???

I don't care if Obama ever gets another handshake in his life or causes a stampede of handshakes where ever he goes .... I just want him to STOP RAPING MY COUNTRY .... Aye ????

I understood your approach, and I appreciate that you (and SMN and Paul) viewed the allegation critically. The bulk of my post wasn't directed at you, but at various posters in this thread and a myriad of blog entries and comments over the web. You of all people should be willing to grant me a little room to wander all over the map in my post, right? :^)

You are not likely to be in a diplomatic receiving line of a country that invited the POTUS on a state visit. When some random vessel represents the United States in a foreign country on a state visit, if they were to be openly disrespectful to that vessel, then they are being openly disrespectful to the United States and that should piss off all Americans, partisanship aside. If they burned the US Flag on the middle of the table between the delegations, I'd expect you to be pissed off - I wouldn't see the two as being any different.

I'll grant you that ... I just think it's better that we handle our grievences "in house" rather than on the world stage.

I'm with you I45, I can't believe the right wingers are cheering this on. If this happened to Bush, even though they "claim" to not like alot of what Bush did, they would be screaming at the top of their lungs, demanding we cut off relations with Russia.

Just because of the "R" in front of his name.

My make of the entire clip is that it's Obama introducing the US delegation to Medvedev. Can't quite understand what the fuss is, except it seems that the crazies are trying to stretch anything to make him look bad. Just as the crazies on the left are trying to stretch everything to make him look good.

There's plenty to dislike about Obama without making up stupid stuff.

Heck, if he offered his hand to me, I wouldn't shake it. So why would it bother me that someone else doesn't? If that were what's happening here, which I think it's not.
