The prices didn't get as high in Dallas because nobody wants to move there. Oh also, the houses were built by illegals who know nothing about carpentry so the houses are built like crap and will start falling apart much sooner than many in the north?

The prices didn't get as high in Dallas because nobody wants to move there.

Quote:Dallas (pronounced /ˈdæləs/) is the third largest city in the state of Texas after Houston and San Antonio and the eighth-largest in the United States.[4] As of July 1, 2009, CNN Money reported Dallas edged past San Diego (pop. 1,279,329) back into the 8th spot, with a population of 1,279,910.[5]

With an estimated population nearing 1.3 million,[1][6] the city is the main economic center of the 12-county Dallas–Fort Worth–Arlington metropolitan area that according to the March 2009 U.S. Census Bureau release, had a population of 6,300,066 as of July 2008,[7] making it the number one metropolitan area in population growth in the nation last year.

Robert, you hold nothing back with your efforts at stupidity. You're the archetype of a Chicagoan.

Hopefully you, a southern lib, will finally see how elitist these northern and western libs are and how they view the south. To them, libs in the south are nothing but useful idiots.

I am not a southern liberal. I am a moderate. I lived up north for 6 years, I know how they view us southerners. You think the norther liberals are bad, wait until you hear from the northern conservatives ....

Of course the rednecks from the surrounding area move in. Of course, they don't have the money to pay a lot so the price has to be kept low. When I said "nobody", I meant people with brains.

Again Robert, if you moonbats are so Gdamn much more intelligent than us "inbred, southern redneck conservatives", why is it you can't provide for your own sorry ass? Why do you ALWAYS vote for a government to provide for you? To make decisions for you? Doesn't sound too intelligent to me. Matter of fact, sounds as if you should have never left your mom's tit.

Actually dipshit, as with any major city in the South, the middle-class and family-oriented people are moving OUT of the city and into the burbs. Those people, you f'n moron, are generally younger, single people moving in closer to work and closer to the night life.

Wanna talk about homes in the South? Fine. Here's mine. I'll expect yours in a post afterwards. If you're ashamed of your cardboard box, I'll understand.

We could if the southern states didn't STEAL the tax dollars from the northern states.

Your argument makes no sense. Then again, they rarely do. You're FOR increasing federal taxes, yet you're now using it to strengthen your argument? Hypocrite much? As for taxes paid out vs. taxes paid in, as you can see, it's not a "Southern thing", hate to ruin your argument with the facts:
