RE: Steve McNair has been shot and killed.
.

I was involved in a Case where a Woman shot her self in the Mouth ---- now you have to have a little trust of me here, "4 Times" before she finally Fired one that was Fatal.

I knew this situation very very well and there was a lot of Spousal Abuse and Financial Issues this poor woman was dealing with and she was just beaten to pieces by it all.

Now try to imagine, wanting to Die So Badly, that you Shoot Your Self In the Mouth with a 9mm "4 Times" and with her Sister Fighting her for the Gun all the while.

This is the Only Case I was ever personally involved in where a Woman shot her self any where in the Head Area.

Man the Utter Pain she went thru the First 3 Shots were humanly unbearable from the damage they caused.

This woman truly wanted to die and nothing was going to stop her.

And it was nothing like the McNair situation with the Picture Perfect, every Hair In Place Girlfriend.

The only twist in the works with McNair, IS that she bought the Weapon just days before the Shooting .... still could be Owners Gun used against her and McNair and it was made to look like a Murder/Suicide, but that would have taken some personal meaning and desire for revenge to pull off.

AHHH, this one will either go Cold Case or be concluded as Murder/Suicide Deaths, as part of a Crime of Passion.

Strange one though ....

RE: Steve McNair has been shot and killed.
Around 5000 attend McNair's Funeral.

HATTIESBURG, Miss. — Titans quarterback Vince Young didn't expect to speak Saturday during his mentor's funeral. He wound up summing up the emotional day with just a few words.

"Steve was like a hero to me, and heroes are not supposed to die,'' Young said before stopping to rub his eyes as he talked about the man he knew from football camps as a teenager and called "Pops'' - Steve McNair, his predecessor with the Titans.

McNair was shot and killed on the Fourth of July by his girlfriend, 20-year-old Sahel Kazemi, who then shot herself in the head.

Nearly 5,000 turned out to say goodbye to the 36-year-old during one of the biggest funerals in the recent history of Mississippi, McNair's home state.

Fans and old friends filed into the Reed Green Coliseum on the campus of the University of Southern Mississippi, and McNair's family rented buses to haul in most of the people from his hometown of Mount Olive. Not far away sat men who competed against McNair or coached him on the field.

The high school football team McNair's son plays on wore their jerseys in honor of the man they often saw smiling from the sidelines.

"Mississippi has lost a tremendous legend,'' said Cardell Jones, McNair's college coach at Alcorn State.

The hearse carrying McNair's silvery-gray casket was escorted 30 miles down Highway 49 by nine police officers on motorcycles and several vehicles carrying family members. After the two-hour service, the procession headed back down that road to Mount Olive for a private burial.

Police escorted McNair's wife, Mechelle, and his mother, Lucille, into the stadium beforehand. Near the end, a handful of people surrounded his mother and his sons, waving them with fans and programs and giving hugs.

Brett Favre, who had a home near McNair's here in Hattiesburg, sat a few rows behind the McNair family but did not speak. Titans coach Jeff Fisher, Baltimore linebacker Ray Lewis and Chicago quarterback Jay Cutler attended. Doug Williams, the first black quarterback to win the Super Bowl, also was on hand.

No matter how well the guy could throw a ball he was still a cheating scumbag. That he was going to cheat on the girl he was cheating on his wife with is beyond my ability to comprehend. 5000 people turned out for him and I wonder who many will be there when his kids need help. Granted his estate is valued at $200 million and that can buy a lot of help, but his wife is going to needs friends, not leechers.

This just goes to show that we have elevated Stars of Screen, Stage, TV, Music, and SPORTS along with other Arts and Politics, so high above the rest of us, that we have almost let it get to an insane fever pitch that is fairly unhealthy.

THEY ARE NO BETTER THAN THE REST OF US .....

This is a Fundamental Truth and we should be able to see this by all the Public Flaws we see in them Each and Every Day.

Why are these people our Heroes ???

Do most people ever ask them selves this Simple, Yet Super Important Question. And this gets passed on to our Children and this is a shame.

Are our lives so dull and dumbed down, that we have to use these peoples troubled lives, as a Proxy Way to maybe scratch some of their Lime Light Cinderella Lives off onto our selves so we can be happy too ???

I believe we have gotten lost in all this and Forgotten Who our True Heroes Really Are - OR Should Be ....

And man is that ever our Dire Loss.

It's not a dull and dumbed down life, It's human nature. Instant popularity didn't just start in this generation.
