President Barack Obama has secured an agreement from the Russians to allow US air transports to fly over Russian Airspace in order to capture terrorists and others who oppose the Afghan regime. Anyone who thinks this man doesn't have skills is fooling themselves.

When he pushes thru the Cap and Trade Tax. Socialized medicine and runs major banks and automakers, lets see what happens to the U.S. He is pushing so hard that when the crap hits the fan, we can never go back to a free market health care.

Screw "free"market health care and the corporations that make billions off of it. Way too many "billing clerks" and "administrative assistants" being paid to figure out plan reimbursements. Billions wasted on paperwork. Single payer works for the rest of the industrialized world quite well. Why does the nation who's government subsidizes the drug companies have to pay the highest prices in the world for prescription drugs

Single payer healthcare will eliminate the need to have Medical Payments Coverage for Auto & Home Insurance which should bring down the costs of those items which are legally required by either the state you live in or the bank who holds your mortgage.

Workman's comp and all it's expense and fraud will also be eliminated. Simplify.

If he wasn't running the major banks and automakers all those institutions would no longer exist with thousands if not millions unemployed and a reply of the Great Depression. It would be an economic and social disaster.

Being able to track, attack and do air surveilance from Russia into Afghanistan will give Al Qaida somthingelse to be concerned about in this war. The more unnerved they become the better our chances will be of achieving some kind of democratic government in a nation that has been anything but a nation for hundreds of years.

I like this Russian assistance to the GWOT. They also supplied a naval destroyer as part of that anti-piracy coalition in Somalia.

I do wonder though what either:

A) the unknown carrot Obama had to present for this cooperation, or
B) what Putin will ask for at a later date when he calls in this favor, and
C) what does this do to Obama probable need to later critizise Russia for something?

Always remember Political Science 101. Politics is never a zero-sum game.
