Bernie Madoff gets 150 Years
US Probation Office recommended 50 years.

Judge gives him 150

I think Bernie will whack himself in prison.

This is not good news for Allen Stanford.

He's how old again?

If I was him, and I could go back in time, I am not sure I'd change how I'd do things. Live the incredibly luxurious lifestyle he did for decades, then spend the last 5-10 yrs in prison? I'd go for luxury lifestyle, then take the prison sentence...... and you damn well know that he WILL get out on parole in some way shape or form. The prison system is notoriously lenient on white collar crime.

.

Well he is already 150 anyway, so that means he will be eligible for Parole when he is about 180.

Watch and see if they don't play with this due to his age and health and get it down to where he serves no almost time at all.

AHHH .... it is the name of the game.

The federal system has no parole, just state systems. On the other hand, federal prisons are like country clubs compared to state prisons.

I think Madoff got what he deserved, but here's where I fail to see how our justice system is balanced. Yeah, Madoff made off with people's money leaving them broke and he's paying for it, but people who commit murders or rape babies get far shorter prison sentences than he did and I think that's unfair. All of them should get 150 year sentences - with no parole.

Well there are two kinds of Federal Prisons .... the Golf Club kind where there aren't even any fences and that is for guys like Mad Man Madoff ..... then there are the ones that God doesn't even want to be sent too.

There are about 20 across the U.S. that are basically really hard core SUPER Super Max prisons and Suicide is better than a stay at one of those slaughter houses.

Yeah Madoff will be wearing Polo Shirts and just hanging out far away from the likes of Charlie Manson and that sort.

I'm sure he'd take 150 years at a country club facility, over 15 months at Rikers Island or San Quentin.
