Palin announces Natural Gas Pipeline to Lower 48
and financed by the private sector instead of government.

awesome interview btw, she is on point on the Energy and fiscal issues with a nice resume she's accumulating. More please

notice how during the election, with $4 gas prices at the time, the MSM successfully kept her Energy Independence message from getting out.

I guess that is good but I would rather have geothermal, solar and wind.

I'd prefer Palin's Pipeline to LNG terminals and LNG tankers docking on the mainland. The one near Boston is a security headache. Just ask the Coasties on here.

Offshore LNG terminals pose some engineering problems.

RE: Palin announces Natural Gas Pipeline to Lower 48
.

This is just another example of Palin being pushed to the side for meanness and it being done at the peril of our independence from Foreign Petroleum Producing Nations.

I know many people who run their cars, trucks, fork lifts, Bobcat Machines, and other Machines and Vehicles off LP Gas and Natural Gas.

Why on Earth would we not want our own pipe line providing Natural Gas to the Lower 48 States (58 - 2 = 56 States according to Obama) and stop buying the stuff from overseas ????

It seems like the fix is in and all this talk about alternative fuels to Gasoline is just a bunch of CRAP.

LP Gas and Natural Gas are cleaner burning fuels than Gasoline, so WTF is the problem with this ????

Would it be the OK Thing if Al Gore were pushing it as a Plan ??? WHY YES !!!

I think it is a shame and a sham and all these Green Screaming Politicians are simply Full of Sh't when it comes down to the actual nut cuttin'.

And the younger generations will go along with this foolishness because it is what they have been taught to do in the Government Run Schools - - in other words, "Never Go Independent or You may hurt some Oil Producing Countries Feelings" ..... what a crock man .... what a farce.

You are an angry man. Calm down a bit. So much anger is not good for your health.

Robert, I used to fill up my Motorcycles at 0.25 Cents a Gallon for Gas.

I could buy a Large Dressed Cheese Burger, Large Fries, Large Chocolate Malt for 0.45 Cents. (for all of it - total price)

A bottled Coke was a Nickle because when we turned the bottles back in, we got a Nickle Refund on them.

Candy bars that freggin dwarf this little pieces of goo we purchase today that are called candy bars were 0.5 Cents.

Cigarettes were 0.20 Cents a pack with no Tax as was Skoal and Copenhagen - - Red Man pouch tobacco was 0.25 Cents per "1 Pound Pack".

It cost 0.50 Cents to get into a movie.

I could take $5 Dollars out on a Friday or Saturday night and have all the fun I wanted and still have change left over.

"ANGRY" ..... you bleedin' right I am ANGRY at this foolishness !!!!!

I used to make $175.00 Dollars + Overtime a week as a Supervisor at an Experimental Feed Mill and that was big money back then.

It's sad how screwed up we have become in just my life time.

Can you see the Financial Future in your Crystal Ball by working the Math out from my life to now, the present, as it pertains to your life or your Children's Lives and what they will have to pay for necessities just to survive.

My first Brand Spanking New Car with only 8 Miles on it, cost me $14,000.00 Dollars ...... that's because I had them add everything under the Sun onto that car ---- the same car today would be a $40,000 Dollar Car ..... ACTUALLY the car it's self was only $11,500 Dollars - - the other $2000 was Tax, Title, Special Delivery and such. We are talking all electric seats (drivers and passengers), T-Tops Sun Roof, Leather everywhere they could put Leather, Special Engine, 8 Speaker Stereo that the Antenna would Retract and hide away when you turned the Stereo Off .... Special Wheels and all 4 Brakes were Disc Brakes (big deal at the time).

Heck I was looking at a totally decked out brand new Firebird Trans Am Formula that was only $8000 and a Ford Silver Edition 4-Wheel Drive with built in 40 Channel CB Radio and Mudder Kit for $7000 when I finally bought the Special Package Monte Carlo ..... LOL

Some crazy prices on Brand New Decked out cars back then - - all those cars would be in the $30 to $40 Thousand range at today's prices - - and that is just plain freggin stupid. And we all wonder why the car industry as gone down the tubes.

My first Dirt Bike was only $550 Dollars - - the same type of Dirt Bike today will cost at least $4500 if not more .... it is wild the prices of things man !!!!!

I know things have to go up in price as outside influences drive the market, but what I am seeing is just plain damn stupid and out of control and it makes no sense.

AHHHHH - - you are so young that you don't understand what it is like to fill up an empty car with gas for only $3 Dollars ..... heck, in your generation, almost all you've ever known is "$3 Dollar a Gallon Gas" ..... it is just a shame

Your argument makes absolutely zero sense, and displays a complete lack of understanding of basic economics. Yes, the price of goods have gone up. So have average incomes. Is the person working as a "Supervisor at an Experimental Feed Mill" today in 2009 still only making $175 week? Didnt think so. If they were, you might have a point.

Don't fall off your rocker, old man.

With ignorant statements like this, that's why we don't need a popularity contest and gov't spending on bad ideas.

Let the professionals do their job Robert, go back to watching Survivor.
