You resent them because they are getting a good deal? Man I wonder how the banks feel about me? One of them made me sign a legal document at closing saying I wouldn't sell the property for more than $111,000 in the following three months after I closed on it. I paid $92,500 for it. Suckers!

I also find it humerous how many times I have lost out on bids, only for the other contracts fall through, and I get it for way less. Stupid banks. 02-13-banana

I am for renting and telling them to F themselves but I have 4 other siblings. You are dealing with the banks. The person in charge of liquidating homes is not affected by what he sells them for. They don't care. Just the constant nickle and diming is a poor way to negotiate. And I have every right to wish ill will on the buyer.
I will give you $5 for the house...

They are requesting a Radon gas test. Is this typical of real estate now. I have not bought or sold a house in 11 years.

I'd take it and run (because I love running - but there should always be a healthy debate about an offer or it really is too good to be true!) But of course you got one offer, maybe some more will follow?

I like to believe, and tell my clients in times of debate, that you can ALWAYS get a better offer how long do you want to wait? If you wait 4 years and get 60k more is it worth it?

Radon is a normal and customary inspection request. You'll have a test done (on your dime of course, $450) and if it shows under 4 picoliters, you are fine and shouldn't need to remediate. If above 4 picoliters, don't be surprised if the buyer asks for a radon remediation system to be installed ($1500+, depending on basement type) or asks for further credit on the sale price to install their own radon system

Thanks. The potential buyers keep jerking our chain all the while no showings are going on due to contract pending.
