So,,, guess who hobnobbed with Saudi Royalty over the weekend.
Well, if your definition of hobnobbing is geting a free pizza from security gaurds at an elevator. I'm your man. Someone important was at the Cleveland Clinic from Thursday through Sunday. There were literally 18 limos outside. At least 50 security detail outside and supposedly they had a whole wing of the hospital. A buddy of mine at the Ronald Mcdonal House who speaks Arabic asked one of the detail and the only thing he said it was top secret. It was supposedly a Saudi Princess. It was one of the wives of a brother of King Abdullah's. Serious serious jack. I've never seen anything like it. I bet the gave away 2 thousand pizzas a night. Plus when you think they were paying everyone one of those security guys probably 100 g a year. One of you guys with contacts see if you can find out who it was. Nothing pops up on google.

Coulda been Michael Jackson. How do you get a whole hospital wing?
Do you have good pizza in Cleveland? I remember spending some time in Bowling Green and the pizza wasn't so hot.

There's always some weird, wacky behind-the-scenes stuff you find during a big sporting event.
Welcome to the Magic's world:
-- At their team hotel, the Ritz-Carlton, the Magic are spread out through the place because, apparently, a Saudi princess awaiting a transplant at the renown Cleveland Clinic has bought up a lot of rooms and suites.
I found this in an Orlando paper. BTW a Myle's Pizza in BG..... fuhgetaboudit. The best Pizza I have ever eaten.

Seing as how the Saudi's own a good chunk of our national debt, being diplomatic isn't out of the question. Just remember who got us into this situation in the first place...

So, did you bow?
Seriously, had a similar experience (less the pizza) when my mom was getting her hip replaced in Paris. There was a Saudi prince down the hall. He was clearly a lesser prince, but his entourage was still most impressive. Particularly the bodyguards.

Maybe WMD can find out for us just how far up the food chain the princess is. I was impressed, but it doesn't take much to impress me. Give me a free pizza.... your in.

If you had a couple of billion dollars, I'm sure you'd have an impressive entourage too. They'd all be asking you for money too...

Myles never did it for me. It was ok, but nothing special. Curiously, Lima has (or at least had) some very good pizza places. (Fat Jacks, Beer Barrel, and Westgate Lanes at one point)

I prefer Big Ed's myself...
'Big Ed' Neusel was a highly decorated former Marine DI, who came home to east Tennessee and opened a pizza joint. His place quickly became an establishment everyone visited, when he began supporting the local schools, and his pizza recipe kept 'em coming back for more. My buddy Randy and I have a code for when it's time for a Big Ed's pizza. I just ask him if it's Friday yet. When we worked together in Oak Ridge, we'd go every Friday to Big Ed's for lunch. Now, it's on those rare occasions when we see each other. Just a few times each year now. But those few times are like pearls, since it means it's time for Big Ed's...

A Myle's supreme. You need a forklift it's so loaded. I always liked the burnt cheese on the edges too.
