D.C. Press Conference on Torture!
pretty big deal right? with all the Dems and Media obsession with Darth Cheney and equating waterboarding with Torture...why this should be a newsworthy story, right?

of course not, but they find it newsworthy elsewhere

Quote:There were gasps in the audience at a press conference by female North Korean defectors in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday when Bang Mi-sun rolled up her black skirt and showed the deep ugly scars in her thighs. The event was part of North Korea Freedom Week.

As soon as she was asked to recount her life in a North Korean concentration camp, Bang (55) stepped on a chair and roll up her skirt. Various parts of her thighs were sunken as if the flesh had been gouged out. She also walks with a limp.

Bang had formerly been an actress with the propaganda squad of the Musan Mine. She fled the North with her children when her husband starved to death in 2002, but soon fell victim to human traffickers. She was arrested by Chinese police and was sent back to the North, where she was tortured. In 2004, she escaped again.

Bang testified that one 21-year-old pregnant woman who had fled to China and been forcibly repatriated was killed when she refused to have an abortion. Forced abortions of half-Chinese children apparently aim to prevent the proliferation of "unclean" stock due to the North's archaic obsession with the national bloodline.
Her crime? wanting to be free.

an actual victim of Torture, speaking a press conference in our Nations Capital. just slips by the Deciders in the MSM, funny that huh.

speaking of Roberta, try defending Schumer

in 2004, he is defending using something that sounds far worse than waterboarding 3 AQ Ops leaders

and of course mentions the ridiculous byproduct of Security, the idiotic armchairing after the fact.

Then Schumer now, engaging in the idiotic armchair QB'ing after the fact, calling for Prosecution of those who authorized water boarding.

Nah, this torture is okay because North Korea is pro-choice.

RE: D.C. Press Conference on Torture!
Thomas Sowell has another brilliant article on 'torture'

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/article...96453.html

Quote:Whatever the verbal fencing over the meaning of the word “torture,” there is a fundamental difference between simply inflicting pain on innocent people for the sheer pleasure of it– which is what our terrorist enemies do– and getting life-saving information out of the terrorists by whatever means are necessary.

The left has long confused physical parallels with moral parallels. But when a criminal shoots at a policeman and the policeman shoots back, physical equivalence is not moral equivalence. And what American intelligence agents have done to captured terrorists is not even physical equivalence.

Old Chucky is just Arlen Specter by another name.

I have never been able to stand him and his goofy Left Wing BS.

I sometimes ponder how these ugly people keep getting voted in over and over - - and I mean ugly in spirit as much as just ass-end ugly.

Some of them can't even hold a proper English conversation and they were born and raised in the U.S., yet are trusted to Run the Country ????

I guess when your voting base are idiots and you are the One-Eyed King amongst the Blind, you are a shoo-in every time.

Let me see....

N Korea works you over and you walk with a limp.

Al Qaeda works you over and your body is in one place and your head in another.

America works you over and you show zero signs of experiencing torture, you get 3 squares a day, the ACLU are your newest best friends, the future law suits you'll have if the libs get their way will make you millions and it's Bush and Cheney's fault that your life was so miserable that you had to resort to terrorism. Don't worry, Obama will apologize to you shortly.
