You little "After Thought Dribble of a Man" !!!!!

I have known Steve for years and one thing he is not is a liar.

The mans belief system is exactly what he says it is and WTF is your point about it Robert ????

And SECONDLY .... why don't you ask all the Black Members here how they like your lily white rump comparing them as a Black RACE OF PEOPLE during the mean and bloody Civil Rights Struggle, to a bunch of Gays of ALL RACES, who have a LIFESTYLE problem ???

Robert are you so outwardly dim, that you honestly believe that being a GAY "Tube Rucker or a Muff Diver" (a Lifestyle now) is even any where close to being a Survivor of the 1950's and 1960's were for Blacks ??? I was there and saw this crap first hand and to try to force Gays onto the broken backs of Blacks so Gays get a Free Ride on a Civil Rights Road already Paved in Human Blood is so lowly fck'ing shoddy, even for you Robert, that it is more than a shame, it is criminal.

You are one small minded and extremely insulting individual to try and Pour Gays into the "Civil Rights Struggles" of Black Americans and are about as insensitive as any one can get for attempting it.

Let's see if CB will weigh in on this one and enlighten you a bit.

.
I don't really care if you think he is a liar or not or how long you have known him. Gays have a "lifestyle problem"? If that is what you really think, you are the one with the problems. As for comparing the 2 groups, yes, I am aware that some think it is a bad comparison. Yes, I know African Americans aren't all that accepting of gays but I think the overall point remains, if you want something to change, you stand up for your rights and things will change. If you don't speak out or do something about, things will not change.

Bug, why would a religious person claim not to be religious? Aren't religious people proud of their faiths?

I don't think you read entire posts, instead I think you scan them looking for key words and then if they're said by someone you're aligned against you automatically go the other way without even knowing what's being discussed. A while ago I had PM'd Trip about one of the spats you and he seem to have. It's his opinion that you're a junior or senior at some madrassa who's trying to have fun with the old folks and he's just razing you. I'm of the opinion that you're still a few years short of puberty. Do you shave yet???

I am only a sophomore at the madrassa. We learn how to make the explosives material this year. Next year we design our belts. I can't wait until my senior year when it all comes together. 02-13-banana

Btw, you guys are completely nuts if you think I believe any of these things.

Ham, my sister and a cousin are gay. My mom, a Catholic turned Witness, has problems with it. I, on the other hand, can deal with it as long as it's not forced down my throat. Some gay folks just sit around like the rest of us, others use it as a tool to get their way or justification for why they're special.

As for leaving it to the churches, well, there are some loopy churches out there and who knows what will crop up if we let them run things. Then again, the government isn't doing such a hot job either. No matter which course we take we'll still find out that you can't please everyone.

Ill just come right out and say it!!!! I could care less who marries who or what....It is NONE of my damn business. I don't give a crap if you choose to marry a tree....as long as you do NOT harm another person with your actions by violence, theft or fraud....peace be with you!

The damn world is NOT going to come to an end because people of the same sex decide to get married.05-stirthepot

I'm much more concerned with the REAL threats of those in seek of power using the force of government to control MY DAMN LIFE!!! Gays getting married???? WTF? I cant believe so much wasted time and energy goes into endlessly debating the most useless and irrelevant issues...while our own damn liberties and incomes are being STOLEN away from us. I really think that 99% of the American public is TOTALLY brain dead from statist indoctrination that has been foisted upon them ad naseum.

I really am totally sick of this debate.03-puke

My point exactly. Where is the national interest in whom someone is sleeping with? Rather than continue to try and define something personal, why don't we simply eliminate it from the national interest... because there IS no national interest. Want to encourage families?? Expand the definition of a family. Let people decide for themselves what constitutes a family... formalize it (through the paperwork SOAF talks about defining marriage) and move on.

I'm no liberal. I'm not arguing against religion. I'm all in favor of it. I hate having things shoved din my face...

The doors swing both ways...
You don't want gays putting their homosexuality in your face? Get out of their bedrooms. When you do that, you have the moral ground to tell them to keep it under wraps. Until then, you're just doing what you deny them the right to do. I'd tell the racists the same thing... and I include the REVERSE racists.
