Hell, no wonder he had to pee.

If it's the office is acting under the auspices of the government, then it's gross violation of the man's rights (assuming it has nothing to do with him being drunk and is about the song). If it's done under the auspices of the private company, I think it's still a violation of his rights, but it's also a public relations nightmare for the organization. Just because private companies may be allowed to enforce arbitrary rules, doesn't get them off the hook for being criticized for it.

Oh I got it.....I'm not a baseball trivia guy. I guess they play "God Bless America" during the 7th inning stretch? WTF! I've been to hundreds of BB games and I've never heard of this before. Usually..Its "take me out to the ballpark" that is played.
I went to Yankee Stadium as a kid...I don't remember this. Is this a tradition? Regardless...This cop is a douche.

It started after 9-11 & has since become a tradition (the song at least, I'm not sure about not being able to leave your seat).

Obama's fault in 3...2........
Oh wait, I see the thread already went in that direction. That didn't take long.
This kind of mentality has nothing to do with who is president...more to do with power hungry cops.

I'm not a baseball guy at all but I also thought it odd.

I remembered that Robert Merrill used to sing the "Star Spangled Banner" at opening day at YS....I just never heard of this new tradition. Thanks for the info.
