RE: For RobertN
Oklahoma City has been high on a lot of recent lists too. I just can't imagine living there with all of the tornadoes and Sooners fans.

My how the tide turned I was just kidding of never being able to live there, even though tornadoes worry me; I'm from a state that gets hurricanes. Oklahoma City seems like a nice place.

I actually prefer Tulsa to OKC. How does it rank?

I'm in Tulsa myself. I don't know about any rankings but I don't mind being here. 'Cept for them twisters and ice storms.

RE: For RobertN
I've been to Tulsa for the CUSA championship game. It's nice but it reminds me too much of Greensboro, NC. OKC reminds me of a brighter Charlotte. I just need a city with a lot to do while having reasonable rent and lower humidity. Hmmm, with that said, Austin, Tx seems pretty good. There's no ordinance against women going topless in the streets, depending on the woman it could be a good thing.

While Austin is hairy-armpit-kind-of-woman friendly, they don't do too bad there.

I am impressed. It dropped 44 spots in the "Best Place to Live" category. The housing is cheap. Is that really a good thing? What jobs are being created? Minimum wage jobs would be my guess.

I can't imagine why anyone would voluntarily live in Oklahoma. Btw, I haven't followed the NBA in years but when did Oklahoma City become home to a franchise? Wow. How the heck did that happen?
