This year. Seattle sold its team to a businessman from that area. But I wouldn't reject OK right away, you have dry air instead of this humid mess in NC. The only places I would never move are Illinois and Wyoming. If Wyoming had more people it would just be Illinois on my sh*t list. Chicago, in fact, ranked as the most miserable city in money magazine a few weeks back.

It is good because it is a signal to mind-numbingly-stupid people that this would be a bad place to move to. That, in turn, increases said location's ratings in the "best places to live" category.

I can't imagine why you don't just voluntarily put a bullet into your own head.

Apparently the people from Money Magazine have never been to Detroit....

Have you ever been to Illinois? Did you know that the central to southern portion of Illinois is actually very conservative and a lot like the southern states. It might be named the most miserable city but it is all subject to what you believe makes a place good or not. Traffic is bad in Chicago but so are many cities and many of those cities(ie. take your pick of highly polluted Texass cities) don't have much in the way of mass transit so you can avoid the traffic.
The costs are high but not as high as the east coast(I know, I lived in CT for 4 years). Many large museums and a beautiful lake with a large number of parks. THe suburbs are pretty much cookie cutter but most cities are the same way.
