Not to mention that she believes the world is only 6000 years old.....

Link?

Link to biblical literalism.

And, if true, this affects me (or you) exactly how?

This is subject matter that you see everyday. What they should do is go through the court system like everyone else. I know that he thinks the judge will most definitely be in Palin's pocket, but it's worth the try.

None....as long as she remains out of power.

She decided to thrust herself into the limelight....Her core values and beliefs are now fair game for opinonmongers as myself.03-lmfao

I would rather not even have to worry about power hungry control freaks seeking to be my master...but...It is the paradigm that we live under.04-cheers

What if she advances to even greater power?
How does how old she thinks the world is affect you (or me)?
Something might affect me, but why will that?
I'd rather have someone who thinks the world is 6000 years old than someone who thinks Obama's policies are the way to go. Because those will affect me (and you) for the worse. Much worse.

OK...Ill bite.
That type of belief system IMHO shows a lack of intellectual curiosity. If I must have a master...I'd prefer one that is not stuck in that paradigm.

Fo, I'd rather have a politican who believes the world is 6000 years old rather than one who believes "America’s chickens are coming home to roost.”

OK, that's a problem.
My point is that pales in comparison to the problems we're going to get out of the bunch in power.
I'm about as libertaraian as you are. All I want my government to do is protect me from people who are trying to kill me or rob me, and give me the freedom to take it from there.
Alaska is the most libertarian state in the union and she's popular there because she doesn't cram her beliefs down everyone's throats. I can live with that.

Ill be keeping an eye on her. I'd rather she stay in Alaska and continue to do a good job there. Washington is a lost cause.

BTW...I was member of the LP for 19 years and really got into the party behind Harry Browne. I still consider him the best communicator of liberty minded ideals of anyone...RIP.
I left the LP when they picked Bob Barr as its candidate and I doubt I will return. I do not refer to myself as a Libertarian anymore since the party of principle lost it's principles.

I still have my LP card and intend to keep it. I still think the LP may be our last best hope, no matter how much it looks like a false hope.
I've voted libertarian in every election save one since the LP was formed.
It's always been the one party I could vote for without having to hold my nose.
It was not that last fall, but it was still the least of the evils.
