We could but he also used to be the football coach at App State back in the 1930's......
App State had an undefeated and I believe unscored on season while he was coach.
His family gave a pot load of money for the name change when he died.
He ran for governor of N.C. by taking a motor grader around the state to show how he was going to level state politics out.
Think he was accussed of misdirecting campaign contributions (sound familiar), which actually believe was dismissed.
Kind of like the name Kidd Brewer myself; besides we just call it The ROCK. (Built between two granite mountains.)
