Is there nothing to talk about? Football season really needs to get here quick. Even the Troy fans have been quiet lately.

Have you seen the tumbleweeds rolling around over on the Haven as well?

I think we're all just kind of in a lull right now. Most of us aren't big baseball fans (outside of maybe following our favorite schools) and there just isn't anything to get excited about. It's sad that a topic on a TV show is the only thing that's getting "hits" and replies.

I think we need to get Dahbeed on here to stir up the sh!t a little bit? Maybe I can start getting on the Lafayette folks about UL or Louisiana?

I was thinking the same thing.

Course with Basketball season officially over and only Baseball remaining the Dreaded Summer Doldrums (here after refered to as DSD's) are about to descend upon the college sports world.

Spring games and practices are widning up and after that well have to entertain ourselves in different manners. I would expect the board to cool a bit, but then come back stronger then ever once August hits and our gridiron juices start flowing.

As long as no one gets a case of the "SBS", we'll be okay. That's "Saggy Ball Syndrome". It's been known to further devolve into "SSBS", which is the "Slappy Saggy Ball Syndrome".

Im married, I have both of these for a long time now.

yeah it HAS been a bit slow here today. that's OK, we have a loyal core base of posters. I do not worry too much about it.

I've been pleasantly surprised with the inflation of our numbers. I think people are just happy to finally have a place to call "home." The Sun Belt has been in need of a centralized board where fans from all teams could come together.

Has everyone been pleased with Beltbbs? Does anyone have any suggestions of ways we could improve our forum?

I think a dedicated forum for TV shows and Titans Football would be a good addition. And you could also post in there about The Nutcracker.

Not really that bad, it is spring, and there are alot of athletics going on.
I realize Track & field is not too popular, but it might be cool to focus on
good individual performances on Belt teams. We actually have alot better shot at National attention with spring sports than we do for
basketball & football. Girls teams are fun sometimes. We recently went to check out the girls volleyball game and that was awfully fun to watch,especially in their tight little uniforms...I don't even know who is good , and who is bad in Sun Belt Track & field, i do know we(UL) aren't that good at this time.

i used to go to women's volleyball games all the time when i was still in school. now that's entertainment.
