Bryce Brentz 4-for-4 with 2 more homers, giving him 15 on the year.

It was a frigid night high atop the Hillbilly Hilton

Why Vandy lost to MT, according to their fans:

Mid-week college baseball games are perhaps the most meaningless games played in any collegiate sport. Last night was a classic case of a bunch of MTSU players holding a grudge because they didn't get to play at Vandy "taking it out" on a Vanderbilt team that didn't even bother to show up.

I agree that Corbin will not tolerate that type of play, but this is a young team made up of a lot of "warm weather" players who, in last night's frigid temps, were primarily concerned with getting back on to the heated bus after the game. That's my take on things, for what it's worth.
*VandyDan10 This game was all about the weather. We have a bunch of warm weather players and it was FREEZING last night- I had to leave in the bottom of the eight to make sure I didn't lose a foot to frostbite.

Looks like they are a bunch of sore losers. That win over Vandy is going to turn out to look good later on most likely.

Fans like to come up with excuses when they lose a game, especially when they feel it is to an inferior team or program. Anytime a SBC school can beat a SEC team, I sure enjoy it.
