I know someone else said they hated Notre Dame, but I've been a fan of them since Tim Brown put on the Golden Dome. He was always a class act and is who/what made me actually like football in the first place.

Other than that, I vicariously root for Oklahoma, but only because that's my best friend's favorite team.

I also root for any non-big 6 team in any game they play against a B6. I've been a fan of Gonzaga since they busted on the scene several years ago.

I really don't follow any other college team other than MT and the Sun Belt programs, but I respect what Louisville has done-- almost all of their sports are in the Top 25 year in and year out (recently).

Mississippi State fans seem to have some class about them, and I like the 'Ole Ball Coach at South Carolina.

Mostly root for all underdogs against the Power Six.

I also like Appalachian State, and the way their city supports their OWN university, and not UNC, NC State, or Dookie.

Arkansas Razorbacks for me.

I like Utah, BYU, Florida, and Gonzaga for basketball.

i'm a Navy man. my grandfather was Navy in WWII. he designed the shell casing for "Big Boy."

I also like every BCS team Troy has beat: Mizzou, OK State, and Miss State.

Ohio State.

But Mainly FIU.

This is going to maybe piss off some of my fellow FIU fans...but I have to admit that I like the....

University of Miami!

I mean I have to! That was my first love. Hard to let go, just like that.

I took classes there, I even worked as an SID. But trust me, FIU is my new love.

I think the fact you took classes and were employed there would make it okay to be a fan. I know of a few folks that either went to Troy, worked there, or both, that were somehow involved with other universities in the state, either by taking classes or working there.

Clemson (even though I don't really follow them) + I really respect the top non BCS schools, incl. BYU, Utah, Tulsa, TCU, Marshall, Fresno State, Boise State, and Southern Miss.

I still pull for UM (Miami) like most of the FAU/FIU fans do. They were THE only game in town.

Ive developed a fondness for some of the OOC teams that FAU has played. A few who have stood out as good fans to talk about football are:

Memphis
Michigan State
Wyoming (Super nice fans so far)

Memphis= level headed fans ? I haven't seen it.

How about Central Michigan? They seemed like a good group when we played 'em in the Motor City Bowl. I met Dan LeFevour in the team hotel. Good kid and even better family.

Well, you guys probably have more of a competition thing going on with them being in the same state. The only thing they got cranky with me was when I asked why they were so excited about a regular season basketball game against G'Town rather then the Bowl game. Needless to say Im not much of a College Basketball fan and knew nothing about how good Memphis program was or how rabid theyre fanbase is about basketball.

CMU fans were good too, but we really didnt have to much of an interaction with them. They kind of assumed we were coming up to get pounded and once we won they got a little snippy.

I'll always cheer on local NC teams, except Duke.

I'm pretty much the same way with Kentucky schools. I have no particular disdain for anyone in state. I'm not saying that I like UK or UofL, but I don't outright hate them like a lot of Hilltopper fans do.

I'm more like "mehh" when they play, unless they're playing WKU that is. Then it's on!
