FB: UNT Spring Game & Stadium Tailgate Party
Spring Football Game And Stadium Tailgate Party Set For Saturday

The North Texas football team will host its annual Spring Game on Saturday, April 4 at 3 pm at Fouts Field. The game can be heard on the Mean Green Radio Network and will be streamed on the web through Mean Green Premium.

Admission to the Spring Game is free and all fans will have the opportunity to purchase season tickets for the 2009 season at the North Texas Ticket Office.

Fans are also invited to the Stadium Tailgate Party, starting at 1 pm at the Blue Lot at Fouts Field. Join University President Dr. Gretchen Bataille and Director of Athletics Rick Villarreal to discuss aspects of stadium construction project and how you can get involved.

The Mean Green will host six home games at Fouts Field in 2009 for the first time since 1993. NT will host Army and Ohio in addition to four Sun Belt Conference opponents.

Saturday turned out to be a beautiful day, clear skies, warm- Mid 70's
but a strong south wind, 20-30 mph.
Very good fan turn out for the "Believe It" stadium event and presentation, tailgating, and to watch the game.
One estimate I read on the fan count, was at 4500.
