It used to be that achieving middle class was considered success. Now they are the people that are receiving the shaft because they aren't rich enough to have their coattails ridden and not poor enough to ride anyone's coattails. It's a terrible position to be in.

The Obama Campaign raised $800 Million, McCain raised through Public Finance $85 million. Obama should have redistributed his wealth to McCain, to be fair, but he didn't, and only won the presidency by 2%. The $800 million was not even Obama's money.
