"like the Special Olympics or something"
http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/...ob-15.html

Quote: The first appearance by a sitting president on “The Tonight Show” may well end up being the last.

President Obama, in his taping with Jay Leno Thursday afternoon, attempted to yuk it up with the funnyman, and ended up insulting the disabled.

Towards the end of his approximately 40-minute appearance, the president talked about how he’s gotten better at bowling and has been practicing in the White House bowling alley.

He bowled a 129, the president said.

“That’s very good, Mr. President,” Leno said sarcastically.

It’s “like the Special Olympics or something,” the president said.

Class act, that Obama. Insult the British, insult the special needs.....thanks alot MSM04-chairshot

/if Bush had done it, the MSM and Dems would. ______________

The guy is a smug tool. If his policy initiatives didn't prove that these comments should.

Such is the danger of trying to be populist POTUS. Every time you decide to step out and put yourself in this type of atmosphere there is likely to be a gaff to come out of it. Is it possible that he could have more gaffs than Dubya?.....Ummm....not likely.03-lmfao

he could, and is well on his way, but its unlikely to hit home because of the media.

Bush would never make a joke like this though, not in his nature to occur to him to make such a joke. Its of little suprise that someone who holds Obama's views on Life would think to make such attempts at humor.

Only a liberal equate that with someone making fun of special needs kids. Then again you all did get your jollies from victimizing Palin's special needs child during the campaign, so why should I be shocked.

Speaks volumes when someone is offended by the truthful labeling of terrorists but not an insult to kids with mental disabilities.

But hey, at least you saved Robert al-N the trouble of having to do it.

Palin did not care for herself or her baby, that's why the baby got down syndrome.
