It was interesting to watch the month long events surrounding the mysterious disappearance of the old MWC board.....and the gravitation and nongravitation to Killerfrogs.com.

First of all, congratulations to the MWC Webmaster. I would say 95% of the MWC fans posting on the old MWC board did not post on Killerfrogs. That is a very, very strong vote of confidence in the MWC Webmaster and how they run their board. Surely, there can be no higher compliment to a Board Webmaster than that.

Second, congrats to MWC fans. You have your old board back. And, in the process, MWC fans have demonstrated tremendous patience (waiting for the MWC board to come back up) and also demonstrated vividly what is acceptable and nonacceptable. In this instance, Killerfrogs, with its past record of censoring its MWC colleagues, was not found acceptable---even as a back up board.

It was interesting to note that the first MWC fans to immediately flock to the Killerfrog board were the goofball MWC fans with their past record of goofball posts (Wobblefrog, CowboyJunkie, and a few New Mexico fans). While there were a few exceptions (a few very good MWC fans making good posts on the old MWC board) got tired of waiting and posted on Killerfrogs, those MWC fans who generally make good posts on the MWC board....did not post on Killerfrogs.

My guess is MWC fans did not come to this board because the MWC Moderators were not from the MWC. And I can totally understand that. I would find it most difficult to post on a CUSA board whose moderators were from MWC.

So, in the end, all have found their home. I did enjoy and still enjoy the MWC board. For example, many MWC fans do a very good job on posts with CSTV information. I have found much more info on CSTV there than anywhere else.
