Alright ladies and gents, everyone knows we will be getting a new skin for our Sun Belt board soon. We need some ideas for the guys, so post any details or layout requests here. they will be checking for ideas.

I'd like to see this:

maintain white post columns, easy to read.

logo: Sun Belt sun logo followed by the words" Belt Board" in black with white shadow trim. maybe some orange somewhere as an accent.

Im not much on graphics but I do agree with the white post colums, lets keep it easy to read please.

You should put the logos of all the member schools somewhere.

i like that idea too.

Doesnt a Troy poster over at GTT have a Logo as his sig with all the football helmets and the Sunbelt Logo in the middle? I always thought that was pretty cool.

yeah, i have that same picture on my home computer. if the guy making the skin wants it i'll be happy to send it to him. i'd love to see that thing sitting right above the thread list.

While that would be preferable since this site has more bells and whistles, out of respect for what the owner (I forget his handle, sorry) did for the SBC on that board calling this board might be a better option.

You might want to put a links to the active message boards in the SBC. Also, what happened to the ULL's message board, it used to be one of the most active SBC boards when it was on Delphi now, it's a ghost town in scout and their independent board.

yeah, there are some great folks over on raginpagin. i stop by there from time to time to say hey.

how about keep all the colors like they are now, but change all the navy blue stuff to strait black. make all the lighter blue organge with black print. make the logo the conference Sun logo, with the words SunBeltbbs and under that write "Best Board Under the Sun" italicized in orange with yellow trim. then we can put this pic of all the helmets lined up right under the names of who is currently viewing the board.

is that too specific? lol.

The NCAAbbs Skunksworks team has likely already made a skin. According to GTS, it should be added on this weekend sometime. GTS said the skin would be "similar to what CUSAbbs/MACbbs/BigEastbbs currently has." So it's going to be whatever the Sun Belt Conference colors are obviously.

that's cool. some of the skins out there are pretty elaborate though, so i'm assuming the more active boards get the majority of the work. maybe if we continue to grow they'll "upgrade" us later down the line.

I have all the logos of the SBC schools that I can provide to whoever.

Yellow/Black/White --- keep it clean.
