The guy who founded the weather channel has been saying all this for years. Basically its all natural cycles of heating and cooling. And it's either heating or ice age, so be thankful the earth is heating. Sadly, we entering a 200 year period of solar decrease which is going to chill our world quite a bit.

It always bothered me whenever they talked about global warming that they never considered whether or not heating would be desirable. If solar energy was going to decrease, perhaps man-made heating (which has been debunked) would have been desirable. Oh well. That's Libs for you.

All the arguing over whether global warming is real or not, and whether it is caused by man or nature, ignores an essential fact.

We are altering the composition of the earth's atmosphere. We need to be very careful about that.

Of course, any alternatives will have environmental impacts as well, and I for one am not confident that those have been thought through. The only thing we can do, and the thing we HAVE to do, is to monitor the impacts of whatever we do, and try diligently to screw things up as little as possible.
