As a Pitt fan I have to admit he was a pain in the a$$ but he is a good kid and I hope he succeeds at the next level if he ends up at the combines as a reciever. He always seemed to be a good kid and is a great college QB. I hope WVU routes North Carolina because the kid deserves a curtain call. So again I wish Pat White the best in his last college game.

After the Mountaineers win today, Pat White will be the only QB in NCAA history to lead his team to 4 bowl wins as the starter...

As an UCONN fan I got to say I won't miss the kid on the field against UCONN. He has won a few games all by himself. That being said, he is one of the greatest college football players ever. Good luck to him today and at the next level.

He is a great ball player and wish him the best in his future. I think our Bulls where his biggest pain in the butt throughout his career

I've always felt that if you had to pick 1 person who really salvaged the NBE and set it on its current path of success, it wouldn't be Tranghese, RRod, or BobbyP or the like, rather it was PAT WHITE!

Oh yeah, I hope the 49ers draft the kid. They had Rasheed Marshall for a while.

I would love to see White being a Steelers. Would use him similar to Slash Stewart and Randle El.

Just my opinion... but I don't think he will be able to stay healthy enough to have a long term career in the NFL.

I agree. And he represented the BE with a high level of class and dignity. I wish nothing but the best for him, even though he put a pasting on tghe Cuse at the Dome to the tune of 55-7.

Hopefully, Jarrett Brown can do the same next year, cuse...

Louisville made Pat White, if not for us knocking Adam Bednarik in our classic game in 2005 the legend of Pat White might not have happened.

Pat White along with Steve Slaton helped save BIG EAST football as a national brand. He had help and his counterparts at Louisville in Brian Brohm and Harry Douglas and at Rutgers with Brian Leonard and Ray Rice but they were the first to stop the bleeding. BIG EAST Football owes a huge debt to him and I am not sure the league will ever be able to repay him for what he did.

I can't think of a better way for Pat White to go out than he did today. This may have been the best game he's ever played. It was a great game by both teams, and neither of them should be ashamed.

Pat White is a winner....plain and simple. Hats off to him. BE is losing a GREAT qb with his graduation.

since you guys stole eugene smith from us and you have jarret brown im sure you will be fine, but it always hurts to see a good player leave the conference

I can only hope that Mickens, Huber, and Byrd (albiet the other side of the ball, but all-Americans nevertheless) can pick up where White, Slaton, Brohm, Bush, and Rice left off, and help deliver a big postseason for the BE.

If they don't, I'll be giving you no end of sh!t...
