Boise State leads 10-0 with 10 minutes remaining in the first half. Ian Johnson ripped off a 20-yard TD run late in the first quarter for the most exciting play of the game so far.

Not really impressed with either team. This has been a boring game thus far.

Boise's puttin' a whooppin' on TCU. If they keep this up, they'll beat 'em worse than Oklahoma did.

If this keeps up, what will the final poll reflect?

NOTE: I'd love to see the BCS totally screwed, with the further added confusion of Alabama losing to Utah, giving us 2 unbeaten non-BCS schools - after the bowl season concludes. And both of 'em with impressive bowl wins...

Boise State keeps giving up a ton of yardage on defense but then steps up to make a stop just in time to keep TCU out of the endzone. That could come back to bite them later if they don't put more points on the scoreboard. Fresno State and Troy have both already blown bowl games they should have won by not being able to play better on defense as the clock wound down toward the end of the evening.

Boise is not beating TCU, TCU is beating TCU with turnovers. The Boise defense is paper-thin and slow. Boise would have gotten absolutely killed in a BCS game. Frankly, I wish it was playing Texas in the Fiesta Bowl.

I saw that score. I've never been a proponent of the prevent defense. I've never seen it prevent sh!t...

This is exactly what I was talking about. Boise State had no business giving up that last touchdown. Now the momentum will be in favor of TCU when the second half begins. Maybe the Boise State coaching staff might want to think about reaching into their bag of trick plays right out of the gate in the third quarter.

Boise would have given up three touchdowns in the first half had it not been for the ineptness of the TCU offense.

I think its laughable for anybody to argue it deserved to be in a BCS Bowl this year. Just like Hawaii last year the Broncos would have been embarrassed.

I see TCU winning this game if the Frogs don't self-destruct.

Oh for goodness sakes. Boise State finally starts moving the ball on offense, then gets bogged down by penalties, and finally misses a 38-yard field goal. This is just an ugly game.

How many passes have TCU's receivers dropped tonight? Should have been seven. Field goal TCU.

I think Boise State will probably end up losing if they do not at least answer the TCU field goal on this current possession.

How many times can these two teams shoot themselves in the feet with penalties? Boise State settles for a field goal and trails 17-16 with less than five minutes remaining. Their defense absolutely MUST take charge on the next possession for the Broncos to have any chance of pulling this game out.

The worst part of this game is listening to senile Lou Holtz. He just called both Boise and TCU top 10 teams. What a crock.

Totally disgusting! Screw you, Boise State! Now the ignorant media and coaches will have the freaking MWC runners-up ranked higher than the Big East champions in the final polls no matter what happens in the Orange Bowl. Absolutely ridiculous! Cincinnati could hammer Virginia Tech 91-0 and the morons in the media will still be blabbling their idiotic lies that the MWC is better than the Big East. I hope Alabama crushes Utah worse than Georgia dismantled Hawaii. Thanks for nothing, Broncos! Just unbelievable!

I think the Big East would have been media fodder regardless of the outcome of this game. Had Boise won the anti-BCS folks would have used the win to disparage the Big East. Now that TCU has won the Mountain West will have their chests out now. The Big East was in the proverbial no-win situation tonight. But I don't listen to this crap anymore.
