The Tommy Tuberville Rag
I've thought of an idea for a new song. It's got a bass lead, and a nice little beat. Enjoy...
:band:
Hey there Tommy Tuberville, you're plight is pretty sad.
Your team now sits at 4-4, your offense is so bad.
You just fired Tony Franklin, so you'd get your team in gear.
You've not won since, and now you're nearly out upon your ear.
First you went to Arkansas, a victory so near.
You came up short, and then you lost one to the Mountaineers.
Now ol' Tommy's seat's a getting kind o' hot.
You've 4 games left, and that just may be all the games you've got.
But just remember this one thing, when they toss you on your rear.
Ol' Auburn paid me 2.6 million bucks each year.
TV always waiting, to toss a man a bone.
Even tired old coaches who've been tossed right off their throne.
And now I think I'll end this. I hope you enjoyed the song.
You won't have ol' Tommy Tuberville at Auburn very long
.
