Remember Auburn's flirtation with Bobby Petrino?

Yes I do and I believe that was initiated by boosters.

Interesting...ESPN has already taken down the article that they just put up.

PS. I wouldn't be surprised if EVERYONE at Cuse knows that there will be a coaching change at the end of this season (including GRob himself).

Cuse doesn't want to embarrass him publicly (by early firing) but Cuse is at least doing the homework NOW (Coaching Search...on their own or through others) to hopefully make the best choice when this season comes to an end.

Edsall denied any contact from Syracuse.

Cuse needs to go find its own coach. I think SU should be like Clemson and fire the coach now so they can get a head start. Delaying it until end of the season is just a waste of time.

The 6:00 news in Rochester was still reporting this story yesterday. It also said that SU officials denied the reports.

FYI...believe Cuse is obviously ALREADY working on a new head coach...and might even have an agreement with Robinson that if he stays to the end of the year...he might walk away with a lot more "partying gifts".

Cuse and Clemson are obviously working/looking/researching and maybe speaking to agents/attorneys of several possible candidates right now.

I agree. But the former Cuse adm would never even entertain the idea of approaching a fellow conference member's coach. The present adm., I dont know. I would'nt put anything past Darryl Gross.

They must have edited the story and modified the link. I knew there was some reason, just not what reason...
