RE: Predict the BEast Week 9
The game this week for me (outside of Pitt-RU of course) is to see how UCinn does against UConn. UCinn is somewhat of a mystery so far - to me at least - and to see how they will fair against UConn and of course next week against USF.

I imagine Schiano will run and pass blitz the heck out of McCoy and Stull. Will be interesting to see how well the Panthers handle the pressure.

RE: Predict the BEast Week 9
Secondary play will be a key for Rutgers. They'll need to limit the Panther receivers to the short field, and not let them get deep. Stull doesn't have the greatest arm in the world, but it's pretty effective...

Also, some points by the offense might be in order. Pitt's got a pretty good defense, and Rutgers offense hasn't exactly been setting the world on fire...

It will be interesting to see how well the blitz works when the draw is called. If McCoy or Stephens-Howling get past the line of scrimmage on a blitz...
TOUCHDOWN!!! 03-woohoo

However, the game is @ Connecticut, so the home field advantage could come into play if it's a close game. We'll find out soon enough... 07-coffee3

Uconn just doesn't have the weapons to score much against UC's defense.

They said the same about Virginia and what happened,
you forgett that Cinci barely beat Akron, who UConn destroyed last .year .
A healthy Husky team should win a tight one, even the experts think so, with all due respect to cinci.
Is Trangoose done yet from Big East?? I read an article that he went to one of those small good Catholic bb schools and it's
his dream to have a league like the bb Big East.
He created it and it's his design based on the small catholic BB school playing all div 1 sports except FB.
The reason that ND has a favorable situation is that when he was in College they worship ND and he did any thing to get them into his BE league.
The Bowl scenario sux because of it and an 8-4 ND will take the Gator Bowl from a 2nd place BE school every year and the BE school will go to an inferior bowl qame........The Sec or Big 12, Pac Ten will get the Sun Bowl.
The fathers at ND got smart and decided to play an easier schedule ea year .
It's best for BE FB for Trangoose to retire and ND be told to put their cleats on or leave.

As long as we are using games from last year for comparison, I seem to remember UC destroying UConn then. I think that counts for something.

Seriously - that was last year. If UC plays with the quickness they have all year I think the Bearcats get the win.

1. We ain't Virginia....
2. We barely beat Akron...with our third string QB's first start on the road....the fact that you beat them LAST YEAR has nothing to do with this year...one year makes a big difference, see WVA.
3. ONLY way you win is DBrown runs it down our throat because you sure aren't going to pass on our secondary.

Should be a good one! Go Cats!

Where is the UConn Kool Aid sold, I need to get some of that....

I've never in my life seen such myopic fans. I guess that could be considered a good quality.

If UC does not turn the ball over, bearcats win. If they give UConn the ball, then it could be a different story.

UC 34
UConn 13

Cincy pulls away from UConn in the 4th quarter.

USF wins by 2 TD's over Louisville.

RU keeps it close against Pitt, but lack of offense dooms them AGAIN.

You got the Mountaineer and Louisville games right, even though you didn't have faith in the Cards...

Not too shabby, although your precognitive skills do need some improvement... 04-cheers

Once again you guys disrespect UConn and they slam Cincinatti, I think the score was 40-16 Huskies, we have 2 quality Big east wins and should have beat Rutgers, we missed 3 fg's 1 was a 26 yarder.
