Pitt lands 4* TE
Brock DeCicco, younger brother of RS FR Safety Dom DeCicco has given the Panthers a verbal commitment. It came down between Pitt, Iowa, and Wisconsin. He canceled his official visit to Wisconsin this weekend and gave Wanny a verbal today. Say what you will about Wanny's coaching ability, he can recruit. Brock is the nations 8th best TE in the class of 2009 according to Scout.

He was suspected to go to Pitt since spring. Alot of Pitt fans on the boards was getting impatient wondering if he ever was going to committ. But its sweet to see Wanny still getting the recruits. More will be coming as long as Pitt continues to win.

The recruiting has picked up big time in the conference. Pitt is obviously recruiting at an elite level, and Cincinnati is on pace to bring in its strongest recruiting class in school history. UConn and Rutgers are also pretty strong as well, as is WVU's. Now we need for Syracuse and Louisville to get it together. I really don't have a clue about USF's recruiting class, at least this year's. Usually I keep up but I haven't been able to. How's your recruiting class this year Bulls fans?

better check that cat's claw, rutger's class has stalled and their recruits are starting to jump ship. wvu just saw their prize recruit decommit permenantly i don't blame him after seeing their pathetic passing game, heastie will probably be next to go. if usf can get a bcs bid (big if of course) look for them to have the best class in the big east especially with commits like eugene smith, giddens, rodney scott, etc. being strong leans.

http://usf.rivals.com/commitlist.asp

just based on stars its the best we've had yet, a lot of promising players in there

handful of other 4 star guys still considering us

Eugene Smith being the head of that group, getting him from FSU & Michigan would be huge

USF's class is ranked higher than ever before and there are rumors of a very high silent commit that hopefully steps out and announces it and it would be a big one. Ranked in top 100 nationally.

Umm I wouldn't say that. We are still ranked 15th in the country on scout and top 25 on Rivals. Also we are getting one of the best prospects in the country. Top 5 QB Tom Savage was the first player selected for the East Squad in the US. Army All American game. He is also unwaivering his exact quotes were "I'm committed to the program, not the team, stadium plan or the coach."

good for you and i hope for the sake of the big east that you keep him, however you can't deny some key recruits have either decommitted or are waivering due to the disappointing season, it's still a very good class and should be in the top 25 when everything is said and done, it's just that usf has the potential to be much better that's all.
