I'm not saying that necessarily I buy that they are buddies. However, I said all along that an AD as good as Jurich (or any good businessman) wouldn't let personal feelings cloud business judgment.

I don't buy the comment. I think he is being politically correct and is probably offering an olive branch in an attempt to mend any bad feelings there were. That is my guess. I don't really care the motivation, just as long as the fans and teams are rewarded by this renewed rivalry.

Actually, a lot of the people saying that Jurich hated Memphis were Memphis fans. I personally thought it was overblown, and I thought that if expansion ever occurred that Louisville would vote for Memphis.

I always thought Jurich made a stupid business decision not playing Memphis after the invite.
